The tickets for a single journey and tourist tickets can be purchased also from yellow ticket vending machines located at various public transport stops. Please note that the majority of these ticket machines accept only coins, only few of them accept contactless bank cards.

Alternatively, you can purchase all sorts of tickets also from the red self-service multifunction ticket vending machines located at some malls (see the table below), at the Bratislava airport, at the International Bus station and the tramway stops Šafárikovo nám., Sad J. Kráľa, Farského and Jungmannova. The machines are equipped with touch screen and you can pay by coins, banknotes or bank card.

Where can I find the ticket shop at Mlynarovičova? Can you include the exact address pls?
May i buy prepaid ticket online (from another city)?
Reply on: Nest3 #3:
Yes and no. To buy prepaid ticket (for 30 or more days) you need travelcard accepted by DPB. If you have such card (issued by DPB, Slovak Lines, Slovak Railways or selected Slovak schools and universities), you can buy your ticket online. If you don't have such card, you need to buy it first and then you can buy prepaid ticket online. DPB travelcard can be ordered online but will only be delivered to addresses in Bratislava.
Hi! Can prepaid tickets be extended using these self-service multifunction ticket vending machines?
Reply on: vukovicd90 #5:
Yes, that "all sorts of tickets" part of the sentence means "also prepaid tickets (7 days, 30 days, etc.)" ?
Reply on: Rubber38 #6:
thanks! 🙂 that part is a bit ambiguous so I thought I'd check just to make sure 🙂

You´re welcome, enjoy your stay in Bratislava ?
Hi! I have, unsuccessfully, tried using one of these self-service multifunction ticket vending machines ? I got a "reklamačny listok" that says "operacia nebola korektne dokončena". Is there a specific ticket shop I need to go to in order to sort this out or can I take it to, for example, the ticket shop in front of the Main railway station?
Reply on: vukovicd90 #9:
Any DPB ticket office should be fine, including one at central station.
Reply on: 810zssk #10:
Or maybe not. I'm sorry 🙂 Your best chance is ticket office at Olejkarska (near Eurovea) as that is headquarters of DPB. If you upload that ticket here, we will be able to determine whether you need to use specific office or not..
this is the "reklamačny listok" I got 🙂 thanks for helping me out 🙂
Reply on: vukovicd90 #12:
I'd suggest you write to infocentrum@dpb.sk and ask them what to do first, then proceed as they advise you. There is some chance you might be able to solve this via e-mail (they will send you money or something) 🙂

Alternatively, visit ticket office at Olejkarska during usual business hours (9-16), that is your best chance to solve this in person.
I'll try going to the ticket office at Olejkarska, wish me luck 🙂 thank you!
Hello!
I live in Antloska str. in Petrzalka. How can I get a ticket from here ? since there is no ticket machine or ticket shop ?
thank you
Reply on: romosios #15:
An SMS ticket is a good option, since it's pretty easy to buy anywhere, however, it may not work if You don't have a local phone operator. Otherwise, You'll just have to walk to the nearest stop with a ticket machine.
Reply on: medzernik #16:
Thank you.
How does an SMS ticket work ?
Reply on: romosios #17:
You have to send a blank SMS to the number "1140" (40 minutes, €1.00) or "1100" (70 minutes, €1.30) (I THINK, I am not too sure about that), however, it may not work on roaming.

Isn't there a machine at the Hostital Antolska bus stop? If not I believe that a short walk to Lubovnianska bus stop (the one on the right beyond the bridge) should have a machine.
Reply on: pharel #19:
I can't see any ticket machines on Google Streetview... However, there is a press shop on Lubovinianska stop, there You can ask for tickets.
Dear all,

3 questions :

1. Can I take a ticket from a ticket machine without validating it on a bus/tram etc and just use it the next day ?
2. If my bus route involves more than 1 zone but the final destination is within 100-101 do I have to take a ticket for more than 1 zone ? How about Petrzalka Antolska, what zone is that ?

3.Can I change buses and trams with one ticket within the time limit of the ticket ?

Thank you in advance
Reply on: pharel #19:
You 're right about Lubovnianska bus stop
Reply on: romosios #21:
1, you can buy it today and use it anytime

2, if your journey is within 100-101 zones (whole Bratislava) you can use one ticket only (be aware of time limit)

3, yes, of course
Reply on: romosios #21:
1. You are not required to mark the ticket in order to board the bus, but not to do so will be considered stealing, and you will have to pay a fine of about 40 Euros.

2. For information about ticket zoning, take a look at this page:

https://imhd.sk/ba/doc/en/14971/Ticket-Price-List-from-1st-Nov-2015

Antolska is located within zone 100.

3. As long as you don't go over your zone limit, yes.
Reply on: 4004 #24:
sorry, typo - the fine for not marking a ticket would be 50 Euros, not 40.

Thak you all for your replies !
Is there a minimum amount to use a credit card at the ticket machines? E.g. could I buy one €0.70 ticket using a credit card?
Reply on: glider3560 #27:
As far as I know, there is no minimum amount required.
Reply on: medzernik #28:
Actually, there is (or used to be). In past, it wasn't possible to buy paper ticket using credit (or debit) card at ticket machine. Cards were only accepted for long-term tickets. I believe this hasn't changed 😞
I have a 90 day pass that I want to renew. How do I do this online?
Thanks!
Hello everyone,
I'd like to come from Čunovo (It doesn't matter which stop) to central of Bratislava with bus 90 or 91, but I don't know where can I buy a ticket locally.
Can I buy it from the bus driver? Or is there any ticket store?

And do I know that Čunovo is in the 100+101 zones?
Thanks for the help ?
Reply on: Madridista #32:
Hi. As for the first question: no. Bus drivers in Bratislava do not sell tickets in vehicles upon passenger entrance. If you are lucky enough you may find a local store (especially a kiosk) to get a ticket in advance. Anyway, there should be a ticket machine at every built-up area bus stop in Čunovo (at least for the city centre direction).

Čunovo is a regular Bratislava borough, so it is naturally incorporated within the 101 zone ?. Do not forget to validate your ticket after your entrance. Enjoy your stay.?
Thanks a lot. ?
Can I buy a prepaid ticket for one month at a multi-functional ticket machine. I have tried but cannot see how it is done
Reply on: victor paul #35:
Do you have a chip card? If yes, it is possible to buy on this machine
Hello!

I wonder if one person can buy several (36) 72-hour tickets for a group? And if yes, is that only possible to do at the sales points?

Or does anyone know if there are places where one can buy this type of tickets in the area of Pošeň (close to Hotel Bratislava)?

I'll be greatful for any help!
Reply on: vnkturre #37:
Of course you can buy as many tickets as you like (as long as they are in stock). Most third-party merchants don't sell 72-hours ticket so I wouldn't count on them. You can purchase this type of ticket in DPB ticket offices and also at railway stations. They are also available from "large" red ticket machines. One of them is located in Billa at Bajkalska, which is approximately 30 minutes of walking from your hotel - I believe this is the closest sales point to your hotel.

Remember to validate all tickets when boarding for the first time.
