To je pravda, v některých francouzských regionech na nich stojí a padá veřejná linková doprava- tedy hlavně ta školní...
Jmenuje se to Récréo, je to skoro totéž jako Karosa B954 a třeba kolem Lyonu není nic jiného, ovšem viděl jsem to třeba i v Toulouse nebo v Normandii. Inu, Irisbus dělá divy... Ovšem z obchodních důvodů to nemá vepředu znak Karosy, ale Renaultu- zřejmě se tam stydí za zemi původu...

jeden vodič v Topoľčanoch hovoril, že Conectá nie sú bohviečo, ale že tie nové Irisbusy, to je paráda. ? Na conectách ma zaujala akurát tá poloautomatická prevodovka (bus nemá šaltpáku), a možno aj to je zdrojom porúch.

No, problém v objektívnom zhodnotení tohto faktu je v tom, že iné DP (napr. v ČR) takéto skúsenosti nemajú... Tak či náhodou nejde o to, že v NR ešte nezistili, že sa to nedá kladivom opravovať ako Ik 280...

Istanbulský dopravný podnik chce kúpiť 450 autobusov Mercedes

Istanbul 31. januára (TASR) - Koncern DaimlerChrysler dostal od istanbulského dopravného podniku zákazku na dodanie 450 mestských autobusov v celkovej hodnote 106 miliónov EUR, čo je v prepočte viac ako 4,07 miliardy SKK. Ide o nízkopodlažné autobusy výrobcu Mercedes-Benz typ Citaro, ktoré sa vyrábajú v nemeckom Manheime. V priebehu tohto roka bude dodaných 350 sólo autobusov a 100 kĺbových autobusov.

Istanbulský dopravný podnik prevádzkuje flotilu 2 500 autobusov, ktorých denná kapacita je 1,5 milióna cestujúcich na 475 linkách. V súčasnosti je každý piaty autobus v Istanbule od Mercedesu. Informovala o tom DPA.

Caute vsetky, tak ako sa vam dnes cestovalo po Ba? Ja by som si nemohla nechat ujst ten krasny pozitok z cestovania mhd. Chodia nou taki prijemni vonavi mili ludia. A vôbec tam nebyva tlacenica. No proste otrasne.

Budapest metro line M2 to get new control, signaling and safety systems from Siemens

Siemens’ Transportation Systems group (TS) has been awarded a contract by Budapest’s transit authorities (BKV Rt.) for the supply of the M2 metro line with a new control, signaling and safety system. One of the advantages of this new technology is that it enables train headways to be substantially reduced whenever necessary and therefore adapted more quickly to the changing number of passengers. The contract is valued at 26 million euros.

Inaugurated in 1970 and serving a total of eleven stations over a distance of ten kilometers, the M2 line in Budapest is presently undergoing a comprehensive modernization program. Siemens’ share in this program includes the control, signaling and safety systems. A Sicas ECC electronic interlocking will also be set up. The existing operations control center is to be re-equipped with the Siemens Vicos OC 501, making the operations control system highly flexible and adaptable to the city’s ever growing network of lines or to a greater demand for automation.

Data transmission will be wireless and based on a method called "Communication Based Train Control". For this purpose, a special radio wave called "Airlink" will be used as the transmission medium. This technology works with small stationary antennas instead of a ‘leaky cable’, which is laid alongside the track and emits radio waves. Airlink not only offers the advantage of an increased transmission range for the radio waves, it also eliminates the need for cabling work along the track.

The modernization work on the Budapest Metro has already begun and is being performed without interrupting train movements or impairing passenger services. This is extremely important for the M2 Line as an average of 500,000 passengers travel on it daily. The system will go into operation as of June 2008 and reduce the train headway from the present 135 seconds to 100 seconds.

Airlink, the innovative data transmission technology developed by Siemens, is currently being installed on the Canarsie Line of the New York Subway. The system is also earmarked for several Paris metro lines and for Line 9 in Barcelona, the latter to be the first fully automatic, driverless metro line in Spain.
