The September 16, 2007 was the last day of operation of Ceretti & Tanfani funicular railway from Starý Smokovec to Hrebienok. The two good-looking red funicular cars were in operation since February 1970. After complex reconstrucion of funicular railway the new Doppelmayr Garaventa
funicular will start operation in December 2007.
