Visitors to the AC/DC concert will be transported by strengthened public transport lines, however, it is also necessary to take into account several changes in Vajnory.
In relation to the concert of the band AC/DC at the old airport in Vajnory on Sunday 21 July 2024, there will be a strengthening of public transport traffic and shortening of selected lines due to the closure of access roads for road transport in the surrounding area of the venue of the event. In case of road closure, the service of the Vajnory municipal district will be provided by the replacement bus line X53 from Zlaté Piesky and regional bus lines 525 and 527. Due to the expected number of visitors, it is also necessary to take into account delays of connections or other unplanned changes depending on the current traffic situation.
After the road closure, public transport lines will be shortened and the nearest access to the venue will be possible on foot from the bus stops:
- Na pasekách (approx. 2 km) - lines 52 and 56 from Rača,
- Zlaté piesky (approx. 2.3 km) - lines 4 and 53 from the city, line 65 from Dolné hony and regional lines 610 620 622 630 632,
- Bratislava-Vajnory (Stn. Vajnory) (approx. 1.3 km) - train line S60 and shuttle trains.
After the concert, transportation will be provided:
- shuttle trains from Bratislava-Vajnory station to the Main Station,
- special tram line N4 from Zlaté piesky to the city centre,
- strengthened night line N53 from Zlaté piesky to the Main Station.
It will be possible to transfer to the strengthened night lines at the Main Station or in the city centre (Hodžovo nám.). Lines N21 N33 N34 N37 N70 N72 N74 N80 N93 and N95 will run during the night (until 3:30 a.m.) from the Main Station or Hodžovo Square. every 30 minutes.
Overview of changed and strengthened lines
- Line 4 will have all connections from Dúbravka to Zlaté piesky after approx. 16:45. It will not go to Nové Mesto Station.
- Between 17:00 and 21:00, line 4 will be strengthened with inserted connections in the section Centrum - Zlaté piesky.
- It will run every 3 minutes between the city centre and Zlaté piesky.
- Between the stops MiÚ Nové Mesto (nást. D) and Stn. Nové Mesto, an alternative bus service of line X4 will run.
- The night tram line N4 will transport the concert visitors from Zlaté piesky via Vajnorská Street, Trnavské mýto, Blumentál and Obchodná Street to the Centrum stop at the time of approx. 0:00 - 3:00.
- At the Poštová stop it will be possible to transfer to the night lines N31 N34 N44 N47 N70 N72 N80 N93 N95 at the Hodžovo námestie junction.
- At the Centrum stop it is possible to transfer to the night line N61.
- Line 52 will run on a shortened route Rača, Tbiliská - Na pasekách during the road closure in Vajnory.
- It will not serve the section Na pasekách - Stn.Vajnory.
- In the section Tbiliská - Potočná, a replacement bus of line X52 will operate with transfer from/to line 52 at Tbiliská.
- Line 53 will run on a shortened route Trnavské mýto - Zlaté piesky during the road closure in Vajnory.
- It will not serve the section Zlaté piesky - Vajnory, alternative transport to Vajnory will be provided by the circular line X53.
- Replacement bus line X53 will run at intervals of 30 minutes on the one-way circular route Zlaté piesky - Vajnory - MiÚ Vajnory - Stn. Vajnory - Zlaté piesky.
- From Zlaté piesky it will go straight to the terminus Vajnory without stopping.
- On the route it will serve the following stops:

- Hospodárska (A)
- MiÚ Vajnory (A)
- Čierny chodník (A)
- Pračanská (C)

Line 56 will run on a shortened route OC Rača - Tbiliská - Na pasekách during the road closure in Vajnory. It will not serve the section Na pasekách - Zlaté piesky - Studená.

in the direction to Čiližská it will not serve the stops Stará Vajnorská and OC Stará Vajnorská,

- It will not serve the section Zlaté piesky - Vajnory, alternative transport to Vajnory will be provided by the circular line X53.
- In the direction from Zlaté piesky to Hlavná stanica it will be reinforced with extra connections.
- Night line N56 will run on a shortened route Hečkova - Na pasekách during the road closure.
- It will not serve the section Na pasekách - Zlaté piesky.
