Умови подорожей для громадян України.
As of 1 January 2023, citizens of Ukraine when travelling by public transport will no longer be entitled to the across-the-board free transport, which was provided in connection with proof of temporary shelter.
The right to free transport is granted to those citizens of Ukraine who, in addition to the identity card (ID card, passport), if other conditions are met, simultaneously prove:
- a special SLOVAK HELP document with a red stamp with text in UA language, which is issued when crossing the UA-SK state border,
OR - a special document proving the acquisition of temporary refuge status in the first issue.
They can travel free of charge with the above documents on the day of obtaining such special document and for the following 4 days.
Citizens of Ukraine are also entitled to free travel beyond the above if they are:
1. Children and adolescents up to the age of 18 and secondary school pupils, including one accompanying person, however, it is necessary to prove:
- proof of temporary shelter
- proof of school attendance (the type of proof of school attendance may vary from school to school)
Entitlement to free transport is only valid on school days from the place of habitual residence indicated on the temporary shelter document to and from the school site. The accompanying person is also entitled to free transport when returning from the place of school to the place of habitual residence after accompanying the child to school and when travelling to collect the child from the place of habitual residence to the place of school for the purpose of accompanying the child home from school. The person accompanying the child must have with him/her a certificate of attendance at the child's school.
2. Workers who are being transported to/from work and show proof of:
- proof of temporary shelter
- and the employer's confirmation of employment
Entitlement to free transport is valid for 60 days from the date of obtaining temporary refuge status from the place of habitual residence indicated on the special temporary refuge document to the place of residence of the employer.

З 1 січня 2023 року громадяни України при проїзді в громадському транспорті втратять право на безоплатний проїзд, який надавався у зв'язку з отриманням довідки про взяття на облік особи, яка потребує тимчасового житла.
Право на безоплатний проїзд надається тим громадянам України, які, крім документа, що посвідчує особу (посвідчення особи, паспорт), при виконанні інших умов, одночасно пред'являють посвідчення:
- спеціальний документ SLOVAK HELP з червоною печаткою з текстом українською мовою, який видається при перетині державного кордону між Україною та Словаччиною,
АБО - спеціальний документ, що підтверджує набуття статусу тимчасового притулку в першому питанні.
Вони можуть подорожувати безкоштовно за вищезазначеними документами в день отримання такого спеціального документа та протягом наступних 4-х діб.
Громадяни України також мають право на безоплатний проїзд поза межами вищезазначеного, якщо вони перебувають на території України:
1. Діти і підлітки до 18 років та учні середніх шкіл, включаючи одну супроводжуючу особу, однак це необхідно довести:
- довідка про надання тимчасового притулку
- довідка про відвідування школи (тип довідки про відвідування школи може відрізнятися в різних школах)
Право на безоплатний проїзд діє лише у дні навчання від місця постійного проживання, зазначеного в документі про надання тимчасового житла, до місця навчання та у зворотному напрямку. Супроводжуюча особа також має право на безоплатний проїзд при поверненні з місця навчання до місця постійного проживання після супроводу дитини до місця навчання та при проїзді за дитиною з місця постійного проживання до місця навчання з метою супроводу дитини зі школи додому. Особа, яка супроводжує дитину, повинна мати при собі довідку про відвідування дитиною школи.
2. Працівники, які перевозяться на роботу/з роботи і пред'являють посвідчення:
- довідка про надання тимчасового притулку
- та підтвердження роботодавця про працевлаштування
Право на безоплатний проїзд діє протягом 60 днів з дня отримання статусу тимчасового біженця від місця постійного проживання, зазначеного в спеціальному документі про надання тимчасового захисту, до місця проживання роботодавця.
