Ticket Types and Prices (from 15 Dec 2024)

Single-trip tickets

• Reduced tickets can only be purchased using a travel card.
• All single tickets allow free transfers within 60 minutes of purchase (in the case of a travel card, the card must always be attached to the on-board check-in device at the time of transfer).
• Luggage, pushchairs and dogs are carried free of charge.

Prepaid tickets

• Pre-paid tickets (PCL) allow unlimited travel during their validity. They can be purchased on a travel card valid up to 30 days in advance.
• When boarding the vehicle, the PCL card must always be attached to the check-in device (registration of the journey).
• The 180-day student PCL can be purchased until the end of the calendar year at the latest (i.e. valid from 30 January at the latest).
• They are more cost-effective for regular passengers than buying single tickets with a transport card.
• Transferable tickets are not tied to a specific person, they can be used by different people at different times (e.g. suitable for companies, households).

SeniorPass TT

*) For the first year free of charge.

• SeniorPass is intended for seniors from the age of 63 who are also permanent residents of Trnava.
• It allows unlimited travel on public transport lines during its validity period.
• To use it, a chip travel card is required.

SMS ticket

• The SMS ticket allows unlimited transfers during its validity. A discounted SMS ticket is not provided.

Basic conditions for using the SMS ticket:

• the passenger can board the vehicle only with a received SMS message with a ticket, the ticket should be delivered within 2.5 minutes from the sending of the SMS message (if it cannot be delivered within 5 minutes, the order is automatically cancelled),
• the service is available only for customers of Slovak mobile operators,
• multiple SMS tickets can be purchased from one mobile phone via SMS, i.e. as many SMS tickets will be sent to the passenger's mobile phone as the number of times the SMS was sent to the number 1122,
• getting help by sending an SMS with the text INFO to 1122,
• a forwarded SMS ticket to another phone is not valid,
• additional proof of the SMS ticket is not possible.

Free transport

The following are entitled to free transport on Trnava public transport lines:

• children up to the age of 6 years accompanied by a passenger,
• guide for the handicapped with entitlement to a guide (holder of ŤZP-S card),
• judges of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic.

Travel cards

The contactless travel card can be purchased at the ARRIVA Trnava sale point at the bus station in Trnava, or via the internet.

When purchasing a travel card, it is necessary to fill in and sign an application form. In order to verify the details, you must bring a reliable document (ID card, passport) and in case of a discounted card also a photo and a document proving your entitlement to a discount.

Topping up the credit on the card can be done at the bus driver, at the Arriva Trnava shop at the bus station, or via the Internet. The minimum recharge credit is 5 €.

Travel cards of the carrier Arriva Trnava are also accepted (electronic wallet, student card) by other carriers involved in the TransCard group, as well as the carrier Arriva Trnava accepts cards of other carriers from this system.

Ticket sale point

The sale point of the operator Arriva Trnava is located at the Bus station in Trnava on the street Andreja Hlinku 5831/64. Passengers can get a travel card, top up the credit on the travel card, buy a prepaid ticket or activate SeniorPass.
