Mass public transportation first emerged in Prešporok (old name of Bratislava) in 1848, when omnibuses started to transport people between the most important places.
The first tram line in Bratislava was opened 110 years ago - on 27 August 1895. It was the beginning of public transport in Bratislava. The jubilee program will be held on September: 12 - 21
