Rieši sa to tak, že trolejbus nahradí len iný trolejbus, nikdy autobus. Alebo sa pridá nejaké písmeno (3 → 3A)

Pri tomto systéme je potom zaujímavé, ak z nejakých dovodov je trolejbus nahradený autobusom.
